How it works
From brief to live link, with money held safe the whole way.
A sales-led proposal motion with escrow at its core. You see named outlets and firm prices before you commit, your funds sit protected until a placement is verified live, and you walk away with screenshot evidence and a white-label report.
The motion
Seven steps, two clear roles
Every step says exactly what we do and what you do. The line you don't cross until verification passes is the one that matters: nobody gets paid until the placement is proven live.
Send a brief
Two minutes, no account, no obligation. Tell us the story, the verticals you want to land in, your budget band and timeline.
What we do
- Read the brief against the live catalog and current publisher availability.
- Flag anything that won't fly — off-topic angles, regulated-sector restrictions, unrealistic timing.
What you do
- Describe the announcement, the audience you want, and any must-have or must-avoid outlets.
- Set a budget band and a target window so we match to what's actually buyable now.
Get a named match proposal — within 24 hours
A human curator builds the shortlist. You receive exact outlets, real prices, expected reach and the link attribute each publisher will apply — delivered 24 hours from a complete brief.
What we do
- Name the actual mastheads for your shortlist — not bands or codes. A free account unlocks the catalog names; the proposal pins the specific ones for your story.
- Quote firm prices, current Domain Rating, audience and the link type per each outlet's editorial policy.
What you do
- Review the named shortlist against your goals and brand-safety bar.
- Ask for swaps, additions or a tighter budget cut — revisions are part of the motion.
Review and accept
Nothing moves until you say yes to specific outlets at specific prices. You approve the line items you want and drop the ones you don't.
What we do
- Lock the agreed scope: outlets, prices, link attributes, angle and timeline in writing.
- Confirm publisher slots so the quote you accept is the placement you get.
What you do
- Approve the final selection and supply the asset — draft copy, quotes, assets or a topic for our writers.
- Sign off the angle so the editorial fit is settled before any money is committed.
Fund escrow
You pay into escrow, not to a publisher. Your money is held — visible and ring-fenced — and is not released to anyone until the placement is verified live.
What we do
- Hold funds in escrow tied to the exact line items you accepted.
- Carry the placement risk with the publisher while your capital sits protected.
What you do
- Fund the accepted scope through one transparent invoice.
- Track status from your dashboard — funds stay yours until verification passes.
Placement or distribution
We produce, place and publish. For editorial placements that means pitching and landing on the named masthead; for wire it means circuit distribution to the agreed network.
What we do
- Coordinate with editors, manage revisions, and place the piece on the agreed outlet.
- For wire packages, push the release across the named circuits and partner destinations.
What you do
- Approve any final copy edits the publisher requests.
- Sit back — placement management is the part you're paying us to own.
Verification
We fetch the live URL, confirm the placement and link attributes, and capture a timestamped screenshot to your evidence file. Proof, not a promise.
What we do
- Pull the live page, check the piece is published and the link attribute matches what was quoted.
- Screenshot the live placement and attach it, with the URL and date, to your evidence record.
What you do
- Open the evidence file and confirm the live link is what you accepted.
- Raise a flag if anything is off — verification is the gate, and disputes are evidence-first.
Release and white-label report
Only on a verified-live placement do funds release to the publisher. You get a clean, white-label report — ready to forward to a client or a board without our logo on it.
What we do
- Release escrow against verified evidence and close the line item.
- Deliver a white-label report: live URLs, reach, attributes and screenshots, your branding optional.
What you do
- Download the report and hand it on — agencies resell it as their own.
- Come back with the next brief whenever you're ready.
Escrow
Your money is held — not handed over.
The whole motion is built around one rule: funds release to a publisher only when the placement is verified live. Until then your capital is ring-fenced, visible in your dashboard, and still yours.
Held until verified-live
You fund escrow against the exact line items you accepted. We carry the placement risk with the publisher; not a cent moves to them until our verification check passes on the live URL.
Auto-approve at +7 days, with notice
Once a placement is verified live, you get a notice and a seven-day window to review the evidence. If you don't raise anything, escrow auto-approves at day seven — so good work doesn't stall on a missed email, and you're never caught off guard.
Disputes are evidence-first
If something is wrong — the link attribute doesn't match the quote, the piece was pulled, the placement isn't what you accepted — you flag it inside the window. We resolve on the evidence on file: the live URL, the screenshot, the agreed scope. No he-said-she-said.
Verification
We prove it's live before anyone gets paid
Verification is the gate the whole model hangs on. It is a concrete check on the real, public page — captured to an evidence file you can audit and forward.
We fetch the live URL
Our check loads the real, published page exactly as a reader would — no internal preview, no staging link. If it isn't live to the public, it isn't verified.
We check placement + attributes
We confirm the piece is published on the agreed outlet and that the link attribute — followed, sponsored or nofollow — matches what the proposal quoted, outlet by outlet.
We screenshot to evidence
A timestamped screenshot, the live URL and the date are attached to your evidence record — the same artefacts that resolve any dispute and feed your white-label report.
The curated catalog is re-verified on a quarterly cadence, so the Domain Rating, audience and crawler posture you see in a proposal reflect the outlet as it stands now — not a number cached a year ago.
Compliance
What we sell — and the one thing we won't
Transparency is the product. We are deliberate about what value you're buying, because the line between credible PR and a link scheme is exactly the line that protects your brand.
We sell audience, credibility and AI-search visibility
What you buy is a recognized masthead's readership, the trust its name carries, and a citation footprint that large-language-model search can surface. That is durable value — it does not depend on a search engine's ranking algorithm.
Disclosed and editorially genuine
Sponsored and contributed content is labelled per each outlet's policy. The piece has to earn its place editorially — a real angle, real substance. We don't traffic in thin filler dressed up as news.
Link attributes follow publisher policy
Each outlet decides whether a link is followed, sponsored or nofollow — and we quote that attribute up front, per outlet, in the proposal. We never override an editor's policy, and we never promise a follow link a publisher won't give.
We will not sell the pattern Google penalises
Guaranteed follow links at scale on high-authority news domains for ranking — that is the link-scheme footprint search engines actively target. We refuse to sell it, because selling it would put your brand in the blast radius. Saying no protects you.
Two lanes
Editorial placements vs press distribution
Both run through the same escrow-and-verification spine. What differs is the deliverable — a named masthead landing, or measured circuit reach. Pick the one your story needs.
Editorial placements
Hand-curated landings on recognized mastheads with real readership. A curator names the outlets, you accept specific line items, and each placement is verified live.
- DeliverableA piece live on a named, recognized masthead.
- SelectionHuman curator builds a named shortlist per brief.
- PricingFirm, per-outlet price — quoted in the proposal.
- Link attributePer each outlet's editorial policy, quoted up front.
- Best forCredibility moments — funding, launch, profile, trust signals.
Press distribution
White-labeled wire and newswire packages that push your release across Tier-1 circuits and partner destinations — sold by package, with a reach report on delivery.
- DeliverableSyndicated reach across the agreed circuit network.
- SelectionFixed packages by tier — Essential through Global.
- PricingPublished package price — pick and pay.
- Link attributePer circuit and destination policy, stated per package.
- Best forBroad announcement reach, syndication and AI-search footprint.
Not sure which lane? Put both in a single brief — proposals can pair a flagship placement with a distribution package, and escrow covers the whole order.
