Policy

Editorial & disclosure policy

What we sell, what we disclose, and where we draw the line. This is the compliance backbone of every placement we broker — written plainly so you know exactly what you are buying.

Last updated June 2026. This policy governs every editorial placement and distribution package that Zenith Worldwide LLC (PR Placements) arranges. It applies to us, to the publishers and circuits we work with, and to you as the client. Read it before you submit a brief — by engaging us you agree to it.

What we sell — and what we do not

We sell audience, credibility and AI-search visibility. A placement on a recognized masthead puts your story in front of a real readership, attaches a trusted name to your narrative, and makes your brand discoverable to both human readers and the AI systems that increasingly summarize the web. That is the product.

We do notsell rankings, link equity, or any guarantee about how a search engine will treat a given page. We will never promise “do-follow links on high-authority news sites” or a position in search results, because that is precisely the pattern modern search systems are built to detect and discount. Anyone promising it is either misleading you or putting your domain at risk. We would rather lose the sale than make a promise we cannot honestly keep.

Paid placements are disclosed

Most placements we broker are paid editorial— your fee secures the placement, the editorial slot and the distribution. Where a placement is paid, it is disclosed and labelled according to the publishing outlet’s own policy. Depending on the outlet that may mean a “sponsored,” “partner content,” “paid post” or similar label, and it commonly means the outbound link to your site carries a sponsored or nofollow attribute.

We treat that disclosure as a feature, not a flaw. Transparent, properly labelled paid media is how serious brands and serious publishers work together. We will not ask a publisher to hide a commercial relationship, strip a required label, or misrepresent paid content as independent coverage.

Link attributes follow each publisher’s policy

Link behaviour is set by the publisher, not by us and not by you. Some outlets pass standard links on editorial content; many apply nofollow or sponsored attributes to anything commercial. Every listing in our catalog records the link type the outlet uses so there are no surprises, and a proposal states the attribute you can expect for each named outlet. We never guarantee a do-follow link, and we never instruct a publisher to change its link policy to suit an order.

No SEO ranking guarantees

We do not guarantee — and you should not buy on the basis of — any specific SEO outcome: not a ranking position, not a Domain Rating change, not a traffic figure attributable to links. Search results depend on hundreds of signals outside anyone’s control, and outcomes from earned and paid media are inherently variable. What we can promise is the placement itself on a named, verified outlet, delivered as described, with evidence.

Editorial integrity

Publishers retain full editorial control. An outlet may edit your draft, request changes, decline an angle, or pass on a story entirely. We broker access and represent your interests, but we do not buy the right to dictate a newsroom’s judgement, and we would not work with one that sold it.

We will not place content that is:

  • Misleading or deceptive — false claims, fabricated endorsements, invented statistics, or anything designed to deceive a reader.
  • Defamatory or infringing— content that attacks a third party without basis, or that uses someone else’s copyrighted or trademarked material without rights.
  • Unlawful or prohibited— content that breaks the law in the relevant jurisdiction or violates the outlet’s own content standards.
  • Disguised as independent coverage — paid material presented as if it were unsolicited, unpaid editorial.

We may decline or pause any brief that conflicts with these standards, and we may stop work on an order if material facts were misrepresented to us.

Restricted and YMYL verticals

Some categories carry heightened duties to the reader — what search systems call “Your Money or Your Life” topics: health and medical, finance and investing, legal, and similar areas where bad information can cause real harm. Adjacent restricted categories — gambling, crypto, supplements, adult, pharmaceuticals, and others — are handled with extra care and are not accepted on every outlet.

In these verticals we expect claims to be accurate and substantiated, require appropriate disclaimers where relevant, and defer to each publisher’s acceptance rules and any applicable regulatory requirements. We may ask for source documentation, may route a brief only to outlets that accept the category, and may decline a placement that cannot meet the standard.

AI-content standards

Drafting tools are part of modern PR, and we do not ban them. We do hold the output to an editorial standard regardless of how it was produced:

  • Accuracy. You are responsible for the truth of every factual claim, quote, statistic and attribution in submitted content. AI-generated text is not an excuse for errors or fabrication.
  • Originality. Submitted content must be original and must not plagiarise or infringe third-party work.
  • Human review. Content should be reviewed and approved by a person before submission. Outlets may have their own AI-disclosure rules, which we follow.

Mass-produced, low-value, spun or otherwise unreviewed machine output is exactly the kind of content search systems devalue, and it is not what a premium placement is for. We will return content that does not meet the bar.

What we ask of clients

To place your story well, we need you to:

  • Provide accurate, verifiable information and the right to use any assets you supply.
  • Disclose the real subject, sponsor and intent behind a campaign.
  • Accept that link attributes, labels and editorial decisions are set by the publisher.
  • Buy for audience, credibility and visibility — not for a ranking outcome we cannot, and will not, guarantee.
  • Comply with the laws and disclosure rules that apply to your industry.

How this protects you

None of this is box-ticking. Search platforms have spent years building systems — Google’s SpamBrain among them — specifically to identify and neutralise paid links engineered to manipulate rankings. The classic link-spam pattern — guaranteed do-follow placements on high-authority sites, paid for as ranking signals — is the textbook trigger for the link-spam policies that can lead to manual actions and lost equity.

By disclosing paid placements, respecting each publisher’s link policy, refusing to promise rankings, and holding content to a real editorial standard, we keep your brand on the right side of those guidelines. You get the genuine value of premium media — readership, trust and discoverability — without buying the risk that comes with trying to game the algorithm. That is the difference between earned reputation and a liability on your domain.

Questions and changes

We update this policy as platform guidance and our practices evolve; the date above reflects the current version. If anything here is unclear, or you want to know how it applies to a specific campaign, write to contact@prplacements.com before you commit.
