Policy
Wallet, escrow & refund policy
Your wallet is yours until you commit it. The moment you place an order, we start arranging with the specific publishers and editors — so delivered work can't be refunded.
Last updated June 2026. This explains how funds, your wallet, escrow and refunds work at PR Placements. The short version: money you haven't spent stays refundable in your wallet; money you commit to an order does not, because we begin real arrangements with publishers and editors the moment you order.
Your wallet
You can recharge your wallet at any time and keep the balance there until you're ready to order. While funds sit in your wallet, unspent, they remain yours — apply them to any order, top up over time, or request unused balance back. Recharging is not a fee; it is your own credit, held for you.
What happens when you order
Placing an order is the commitment point. As soon as you order, we begin arranging the placement with the specific publishers and editorson your behalf — outreach, reserving editorial slots, scheduling, and committing to partner and wire costs. That work and those commitments start immediately and can't be undone, so an order is not the same as parked wallet credit.
Escrow
Funds committed to an order are held in escrow — not released to the publisher or wire partner until the deliverable is confirmed: for placements, when the article is live and verified with a screenshot; for wire distribution, when the release is transmitted and the distribution report is delivered. Escrow protects you against non-delivery; it is not a cancellation window once arrangements are underway.
Refunds
- Unused wallet balance: fully refundable on request, or keep it as credit for a future order.
- Once you order:because arrangements with publishers and editors begin immediately, an order can't simply be cancelled for a full refund. If we've already incurred or committed costs, those aren't recoverable.
- If the service is delivered, refunds are not possible. A placement that is live and verified, or a release that has been distributed, is complete work — it cannot be refunded.
- If we fail to deliverwhat was agreed (we can't place it, or it doesn't match the confirmed scope), you're made whole — the affected amount is returned to your wallet, or we replace the placement. Wallet refunds can be withdrawn to your original payment method on request.
Press releases & content
A press release that has been transmitted across a wire cannot be recalled, so wire distribution is non-refundable once it goes out. Commissioned writing and GEO/SEO reviews are non-refundable once the work has been started, since a human writer or editor has been assigned and has begun.
Disputes
If something delivered doesn't match what was agreed, open a dispute. Disputes are evidence-first: we compare the deliverable against the scope captured at order time (a snapshot is stored when you order, so later policy changes never apply retroactively). Each dispute carries an SLA timer and a documented outcome — replacement, partial credit to your wallet, or release.
What is not covered
We sell audience, credibility and AI-search visibility — not guaranteed search rankings or guaranteed do-follow links. Ranking outcomes are never guaranteed and are not grounds for a refund. See our editorial & disclosure policy for the reasoning.
